Welcome to the 2011 Prairie City Race Series

2011 will be the 16th season of our event. We regularly get over 450 racers so please read the following registration information carefully.

ATTENTION: Register for the season ONLY once. If you have already registered or raced then just show up, pay and race each Wed night.

Online registration will open on March 1, 2011

Packet pick-up and FIRST RACE is March 27th (Sunday). This will be a points race, a lot of fun and an awesome course. Separate start times to be announced shortly. (probably 10am, noon and 2pm).

2011 Race Dates:
MARCH: (Sunday) 27th Folsom Rodeo/Prison course then Wed the 30th back at Prairie City.
APRIL: 6, 13, 20, 27
MAY: 4, 11, 25 (NO RACE the 18th!)
JUNE: 1, 8, 15,
Awards and Raffle - June 22 - location TBA (Note, this is also our rain date if needed)

Special Dates:
March 27: Packet pick up day AND first race at Folsom Rodeo/Prison course.
Juniors races start April 20.
The TEAM COMPETITION will start on May 11.
KIDS races will start June 1

Start times:
For the first race ONLY on Sunday March 27th, the Prison course we will have only one class at a time racing on the course (Beginner, Sport, Expert).
Regular schedule:
The Juniors at 5:45 (see start date) Adults will start at 6:05pm sharp.
Experts first followed in waves by Sport and Beginner. The 2010 start sequence is HERE.

RACE LICENSE and PARKING FEES: You DO NOT need any kind of license to race with us and parking is FREE! (This saves you over $160 per season!)

Registration Fees: $30 single $35 tandem first time registration of the season. Add $10 if you wait and register at the race on race day - and if the field limit has been reached you may not be able to race. It is then only $20 per race after that (including tandems). Juniors 17 and under are $10 each following race. Kids races are $10 first time then $5. We do the Kids races on the last four races of the Series.

Only pre-registered racers will be guaranteed a T-shirt. (Limited to first 600 attending racers) Schwag bags are first come first served.

SEASON PASS: When you check in (either at the pre-race check in day or the first race) you may choose to pay for a discounted season pass or just that race. The Season Pass will save you the cost of two races. The regular season would cost you $245. The season pass at/before the first race is $205 adult, $115 Junior 17 and under. (Add $10 for tandem).

Refund policy: Unless the event is cancelled, there are no refunds or credits. We run a very low cost event and have limited space (overall number of riders). Please do not email us asking for a refund or credit.

Other Registration information:

On-line registration will close each Tuesday before that weeks race and will re-open each Thursday. You may start racing any time during the season with us. You can always register at the event on any race day but add an additional $10 for race day registration.
